June (Sissy) Brooks

Hurt……..June Frances (Sissy) Brooks, age 64 of 605 High Street, Hurt died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her residence.
Born July 21, 1951 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Charlie Brooks and Frances Trent Brooks. She enjoyed watching T.V. and playing with her teddy bears.
She is survived by one brother, Randell Brooks and wife, Wendy of Hurt; a nephew, A.J. Greene; an aunt, Florence Brooks; and an uncle, Marion Brooks.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Straightstone Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Tim Lane and Rev. Ava Mitchell.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
