Gretna..........Judy Frances Adams, age 70 of Gretna, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born April 27, 1940 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Arnold and Elsie Davis Arnold. She was predeceased by her husband, William Adams; and two brothers, Alfred Arnold, and Robert Arnold. She was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams formerly worked for Lane Company, and enjoyed spoiling her children.
She is survived by three sons, Curtis Birchfield, Jr. and his wife, Shirley of Gretna, Howard Birchfield and his wife, Peggy of Prince George, and John Birchfield and his wife, Darcey of Peshitgo, WI; a daughter, Susan Branzelle and her husband, James of Petersburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Open Bible Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Kyser.
