Joyce Kepley Vasser

Gretna.........Joyce Kepley Vasser, age 69 of Gretna died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her residence.
Born September 21, 1947 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Robert Kepley and Edith Turner Kepley. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Louis Kepley. Mrs. Vasser was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and was a secretary at Abercrombie Oil. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, canning, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Vasser of the residence; two sons, Derek Mayhew and Daniel Mayhew and wife, Amber; one daughter, Jeanne Younger and husband, Mike; five step-children, Greg Vasser and wife, Nancy, Tim Vasser and wife, Betty, Scott Vasser and wife, Tonya, Allen Vasser and wife, Sherri and Kristie Winoker and husband, Travis; two sisters, Barbara Taylor and husband, Ramsey and Linda Irvin and husband, Sam; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
All are invited to attend Graveside services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden conducted by the Rev. Dr. David Edinger and Ramsey Taylor.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
