Chatham……….Joyce Ann Norcutt Marshall, age 64 of Chatham died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Born December 10, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late William (Bill) Thomas Norcutt and Cora Roach Norcutt. Mrs. Marshall attended Oak Grove Christian Church and was a nurse. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Monroe Marshall of Chatham; one son, David T. Marshall and his wife, Amy of Chatham; one daughter, Rhonda Francis and her husband, Andy of Abingdon; one brother, Melvin Norcutt and his wife, Sally of Chatham; and two grandchildren, Zachary Francis, and Nicole Marshall.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Frank Fuller, Minister. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Amy Marshall, 309 Galveston Road, Chatham.
