Hurt……….Joyce Clay Moss, age 79 of Hurt died Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born August 30, 1943 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Clay and Annie Drummond Logwood.  She was predeceased by one sister, Doris Taylor; and three brothers, Carlton Clay, Leo Clay, and James Clay.  Mrs. Moss was a member of Hurt United Methodist Church and she was an employee of Schrader-Bridgeport for over 50 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and camping.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Randy Moss of the residence; one son, Mark Moss of Hurt; two daughters, Karen Reynolds of Hurt and Terri Rowland and husband, Randy of Gretna; one sister, Shirley Lanier of Hurt; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Shelton and husband, Josh; and three great-grandchildren, Levi, Ryleigh and Eli.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jim Brown.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
