Sandy Level………Joyce Bailey Huthwaite, age 77 of Sandy Level died Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born December 16, 1946 in Ashland, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Bailey and June McKinney Bailey.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Edward Bailey, Roger Bailey and C.W. Bailey; and one sister, Faye Martin.  Mrs. Huthwaite enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting; and she loved her flowers and garden.

She is survived by her husband, John Richard Huthwaite of the residence; one son, Ray Cheshire and wife, Rebecca of Sandy Level; one daughter, Ann Cheshire of Sandy Level; one brother, James Roy Bailey and wife, Debra of Rocky Mount; one sister, Frances Tuck and husband, Dallas of Penhook; and one granddaughter, Caitlin Cheshire.
