Gretna……Joyce Dalton Clay, age 71 of Gretna passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born November 7, 1944 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Noel Gatewood Dalton and Emily Adams Dalton. Mrs. Clay retired as a secretary from L.C. Trucking in Altavista and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and gospel music.
She is survived by one son, Barry Clay of Gretna; one brother, Garith Dalton and his wife, Judy of Gretna; two grandchildren, Ethan Clay of Gretna and Emily Clay of Altavista; one great-grandchild, Adrian Hargrove; a special niece Sonya Shelton of Gretna; and three nephews, Daryl Dalton, Addison Dalton, and Joshua Dalton.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 23, 2015 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Lynn Marstin. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Gardens.
