Gretna…..Joyce Vuncannon Brown, age 70 of 2096 Blue Ridge Drive, Gretna died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born January 29, 1941 in North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Glen Vuncannon and Vera Todd Vuncannon. She was a member of West End Church of Christ, and was an employee with NAPA Auto Parts. Mrs. Brown enjoyed traveling, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil Brown of the residence; one son, Todd Brown and his wife, Robin of Dry Fork; one brother, Adison Watson Vuncannon and his wife, Margie of Hurt; one sister, Doris Henderson of Danville; and two grandchildren, McKenzie Brown, and Madison Brown.
Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 21, 2011 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Randy Parker, Minister.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
