Penhook……...Joyce Ann Bradner Jefferson, age 72 of Penhook, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at her residence.
Born December 28, 1942 in Franklin County she was a daughter of the late Oakley Bradner and Erma Cornelius Adkins Bradner. She was predeceased by a son, Kerry Wayne Jefferson. Mrs. Jefferson was a member of Cool Springs Christian Church and attended Penhook United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She was a home maker, enjoyed growing flowers and loved to entertain family and friends in her home.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Wayne Jefferson of the residence; one son, Josh Jefferson of Penhook; one daughter, Susan Holland and husband, Randy of Boones Mill; one brother, Silas Bradner and wife, Cathy of Penhook; and one grandson, Travis Holland.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Judith Short. Burial will follow in the Liberty Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
