Gretna……Joshua Ryan Williams, age 28 of Gretna died Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Born February 25, 1994 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Terri J. Williams of Gretna and Robert DeJarnette of Nathalie. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert Dexter "R.D." Williams; and an uncle, Robert "Bobby" Williams, Jr.  Joshua was a welder by trade; and he enjoyed being on the farm, spending time with his kids, floating the river and eating good food.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Gracie Williams, Gentry Williams and Georgia Williams; one brother, Andrew Williams of Gretna; one sister, Abigail Williams of Gretna; his maternal grandmother, Della G. Williams of Gretna; and special friend, Morgan Dalton.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
