Hurt…….Joseph James Ohlert, age 74 of Hurt died Friday, January 21, 2022 at his residence.

Born December 17, 1947 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Leo John Ohlert and Korona "Kitty" Auer Ohlert. He graduated Pacelli High School in 1966. Mr. Ohlert was an avid reader, dog person, and Green Bay Packers fan, and was always open to life's next adventure.

He was predeceased by siblings Jerome (Kim) Ohlert and Patricia (Jon) Untiedt, and daughter Kendall.

He is survived by siblings Christine May, Daniel Ohlert, and Mark Ohlert; former wife Mary Hetzel and their daughters Lindsay, Kenyeh, and Sooky; grandchildren Kenmyana, Myshadi, Kryation, Reyzon, Dysani, Aedury, Easiyah, Divyne, Warriyor, Lyon, and Essynce; former wife Paula Bruce and her daughter and grandchildren, Felicia, Tiffany and Logan; niece and nephews Marin Untiedt, William Untiedt, and Landon Winkler; as well as a loved extended family too numerous to list here.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Wisconsin. The family encourages donations to your local animal rescue in lieu of flowers.
