Penhook….…..Joline A. Quackenbush, age 85 of Penhook died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her residence.
Born September 13, 1931 in New Brunswick, NJ she was a daughter of the late Charles Armstrong and Helen Lindstrom Armstrong. She was predeceased by one brother, Charles Armstrong. Mrs. Quackenbush was a member Christ Community Church and was a home maker. She was an avid golfer who had two holes–in-ones. She was also an avid tennis and bridge player. Joline was a good cook; and a loving mother and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph T. Quackenbush of the residence; one son, Ralph C. Quackenbush and wife, Eva of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; one daughter Cathy Q. Sexton and husband, Thomas of Salisbury, NC; four grandchildren, Taylor J. Durham and husband, Brad, Holly I. Guertin and husband, Daniel, Chris Quackenbush and Charles Quackenbush; and two great-grandchildren, Jack Guertin and Blaise Guertin.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Christ Community Church by Pastor Liz Lazenby.
