Hurt………John "Johnny" Owen Allen, age 76 of Hurt died Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his residence.

Born April 17, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of Margaret Nichols Allen of Gretna and the late Reuben Stroud Allen, Sr.   He was predeceased by a brother, Reuben S. Allen, Jr.

In addition to his mother he is survived by a sister, Rose Marie Allen of Rustburg.

Per his request there will be no public service.
