Glade Hill……….John Henry Mann, Sr. age 59 of Glade Hill died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 13, 1955 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late Paul Henry Mann and Chanie Clay Mann. John was a member of Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a retired employee of the Lane Company. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting, and driving around visiting his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Tuck Mann of the residence; two sons, John Henry Mann, Jr. of Rocky Mount and Marvin Tuck of Rocky Mount; two daughters, including the devoted, Norma Jean Tuck of Rocky Mount and Linda Wilson of Danville; one brother, Russell Mann of Chatham; three sisters, Virginia Waters of Gretna, Katherine Mann of Hurt, and Beatrice M. Burley; two grandchildren, Lele and Brittney; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Michael Allen and Rev. David Long. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
