Chatham……John Thomas Bailey, age 67 of Chatham, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Chatham Health and Rehab.

Born February 1, 1951 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Charlie Lanier Bailey and Catherine Elizabeth Minter Bailey.  He was predeceased by a sister, Jane Angell.

He is survived by one brother, Charles L. Bailey, Jr and wife, Janet of Chatham; three sisters, Jackie Haley and husband, Charlie of Gretna, Linda Lee of Newport News and Charlotte Mitricska and husband, John of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Bailey Family Cemetery.
