Jessie Thomas Waller

South Boston..........Jessie Thomas Waller, age 85, of South Boston , died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston
Born December 27, 1924 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late, Sy Berry Waller and Georgia Eanes Waller. He was predeceased by his wife, Kumiko Yamamoto Waller, a son, Kenneth David Waller and a brother, Douglas Waller. Mr. Waller was an Army veteran of World War II, a former employee of E.J. Levino Steel Corp and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding around and meeting people.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Waller of South Boston and George Waller and wife, Debbie of Rustburg; one daughter, Lorine Waller of South Boston; three brothers, Lee Waller, Clyde Waller and Owen Waller all of Nathalie; two grandchildren, George (Scooter) Waller, Jr. and Jody Kjellstrom; and one great-grandchild, Adalyn Kjellstrom.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland. Burial with military honors by the Virginia National Guard Honor Guard will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service Tuesday 1 to 2 p.m. at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
