Sandy Level……Jessie Lynn Burks, age 82 of Sandy Level died Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Franklin Health and Rehab Center.

Born September 18, 1942 in Bedford County, he was a son of the late Hollie Lynn Burks and Mary Davis Burks.  Mr. Burks was a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam.  He enjoyed going to flea markets, working with metal and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Burks; one son, Edward Burks; three daughters, Donna Brockman, Jessica Burks and Carla Crews and husband, Timothy; one brother, Glenn Burks and wife, Phyllis; two sisters, Martha Burton and Debbie Burks; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
