Hurt……Jeremy David Weeks, age 49 of Hurt died Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Born May 7, 1972 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Michael Ray Weeks and Janet King Weeks of Hurt.  He was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Shelton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a twin brother, Joe Weeks and wife, Sandy of Rustburg; two sisters, Angie Russell and husband, Greg of Altavista, and Kim Shelton and husband, Owen of Hurt; nephews, James Paul Shelton, Adam Russell and wife, Kathryn, and Ethan Russell and wife, Melissa; nieces, Janna Meadows and husband, Austin, and Morgan Gatewood and husband, Josh; special aunts and uncles; special great-nieces and great-nephews; and his baby dog, "Axle."

Per his request there will be no public service.

"Paddle on our brother Jeremy, you and Glenn go and catch some big ones now."
