Chatham……...Jeannette Meadows, age 64 of Chatham died Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born February 15, 1958 in Burlington, NC, she was a daughter of Nannie McDaniel Meadows Hammack and husband, Luther Hammack of Chatham and the late Doctor William Meadows.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and she was a home maker.  Jeannette loved cooking, singing and sang with her sisters in a group called "Mama's Girls."  Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Matt Hogan of Java; two daughters, Amanda Berger and husband, Andy of Chatham, and Leslie Hiatt and husband, James of Java; six brothers, Donnie Meadows and wife, Deborah of Java, Jerry Meadows of Chatham, Yankee Meadows and wife, Kera of Chatham, Audie Meadows and wife, Regina of Gretna, Ricky Meadows and wife, Stacey of Gretna, and Roger Meadows of Gretna; two sisters, Tammy Crider and husband, Bennett of Chatham, and Roxanne Davidson and husband, Ted of Myrtle Beach, SC; and five grandchildren, Brett, Emma, Nicholas, Jayden and Corey.

Memorial services will be conducted 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Midway Baptist Church by Rev. Lynn Marstin and Rev. Ricky Hogan.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence, 6229 Climax Road, Chatham.
