Greensboro, NC…..Jeanne Bowler Schwitzerlett, age 76 of Greensboro, NC went to meet her Savior on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
Born June 5, 1941 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Wright Bowler and Erna Midkiff Bowler. Mrs. Schwitzerlett was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Hamlet. She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church and was a retired insurance agent. She enjoyed reading, sewing, playing board and card games; and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Schwitzerlett of Greensboro, NC; one son, Barry Schwitzerlett and wife Shelley of Monroe, NC; two grandchildren, Sydney Schwitzerlett and Samuel Schwitzerlett; and three special nieces and their families.
Graveside services were conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Greenfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Gretna, VA by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Lawndale Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Joe Giaritelli.
The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from 1:15 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Lawndale Baptist Church.
