Gretna……….Jeanette Worley Hedrick, age 86 of Gretna, died Friday, October 28, 2022 at Preston Place in Kingsport, TN.

Born July 7, 1936 in Gretna, she was a daughter of the late Julius Grayson Worley and Beatrice Doss Worley. She was predeceased by her husband, John Morris Hedrick; and one sister, Anna Jahren. Mrs. Hedrick was a member of the First Baptist Church Gretna and a past Matron in the Gretna Chapter O.E.S. #118. She retired from Carter Bank & Trust in Gretna and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Dalton and wife, Nancy of Lynch Station and Jeff Dalton and wife, Beverly of Kingsport, TN; one brother, Ben Worley of Thailand; one sister, Libby Jones of Dry Fork; three grandchildren, Grayson Dalton and wife, Courtney, Nicole Dalton and Sarah Dalton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
