Gretna…….Jeanette Haskins Doss, age 76 of Gretna, died Saturday, September 7, 2024 at her residence.

Born April 10, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Thomas Haskins and Marjorie Osborne Haskins.  She was predeceased by one brother, Alan Haskins.  Jeanette was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church and she retired from Universal Electric.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Stewart and husband, Randy of Chatham; two grandchildren, Randy Stewart, Jr. and Jessica Anderson and husband, Brian; one great-grandchild, Brailyn Blackstock and one great-grandchild on the way; two sisters, Brenda Lee Adkins and husband, Henry of Chatham and Patricia Haskins of Snow Creek; numerous nieces and nephews; caretakers, Tonya and Jerry; and her fur baby, Shug.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Randy Stewart, 701 Marion Road, Chatham.
