Altavista………Jean Falls Richardson, age 71 of Altavista died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab of Altavista.

Born October 7, 1948 in Gretna, she was a daughter of the late Hartford Jasper Falls and Helen Henderson Falls.  She was predeceased by her husband, David Lee Richardson, Sr.; four brothers, Joseph Falls, Melvin Falls, Boyd Falls, James Falls; and sisters, Lucille Crews, Geneva Dalton.  Mrs. Richardson was a home maker; and enjoyed watching TV and listening to music.

She is survived by two sons, David L. Richardson and wife, Joy  of Altavista, and Melvin Smith of Altavista; three daughters, Ann Richardson of Gretna, Connie Wyatt and husband, Justin of Dry Fork and Tammy Richardson; three brothers, Edward Falls of Gretna, William Falls and wife, Betty of Latta, SC, and George Falls of Gretna; and two sisters, Frances Walker of Halifax, and Elsie Rowland of Gretna; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Lynn Marstin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday January 21, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
