Gretna………Jean Drinkard Price, age 91 of Gretna died Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born August 19, 1933 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late William Edward Drinkard and Iva Keesee Drinkard. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Powell Price, Jr.; one brother, Billy Drinkard; and one sister, Joyce Smith. Mrs. Price was member of Anderson Memorial Methodist Church and she retired from Crestar Bank. Jean loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Derry Price of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Derry Price, Jr. and wife, Bridget, Monica Adam, Ginnie Kennedy and husband, Josh, and Ashley Price; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 2, 2024 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. R.G. Rowland.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Anderson Memorial Methodist Church, P.O. Box 207, Gretna, VA 24557 or to the charity of your choice.
