Hurt……Janice Ellen Dillard Vaughn, age 86 of Hurt died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her residence.

Born January 29, 1935 in Eckman, WV, she was a daughter of the late Everett Graham Dillard and Thelma Dove Dillard.  She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin Delano Vaughn; one daughter, Diane Ruth Vaughn; and one brother, Erwin Grayson Dillard.  Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Hurt United Methodist Church.  She was a classical pianist and former music director with Simpson Methodist Church in Cleveland, OH.  She loved music, cooking, reading, eating, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Jefferson and husband, Rick of Hurt; three sons, Christopher Vaughn and wife, Ursel of Parma Heights, OH, Charles Vaughn and wife, Melanie of Brooklyn, OH, and Brian Vaughn and significant other, Lynn Duby of Fort Walton Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at a later date in North Olmsted, OH.
