Nelson……….Janet Bolling Riley, age 67 of Nelson passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

Born April 30, 1959 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh Lee Bolling and Betty Jean Saunders Bolling.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Jason Bolling and Billy Bolling.  Mrs. Riley was a clerk with Aarons Creek Farms.  She enjoyed working at the greenhouse and volunteering at Occoneechee State Park.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Riley of the residence; two sons, Kevin Riley and wife, Brianne of Clayton, NC and Chris Riley and wife, Jessica of Clarksville; five brothers, Johnny Bolling of Gretna, Michael Bolling and wife, Kimberly of Danville, Jeff Bolling of Gretna, Randy Bolling of Danville and David Bolling and wife, Debra of Dry Fork; and three grandchildren, Logan, Grant and Luke.

Per her request there will be no public service.
