Hurt……….James "Jimmy" Wayne Davis, age 71 of Hurt died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his residence.

Born September 20, 1949 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late James Edward Davis and Erma Wise Davis.  He was predeceased by a brother, Danny Davis; and two sisters, Sajanna Davis, and Vanda Mawyer.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Davis of Dickinson, ND, and Michael Davis and wife, Laura of Orange Grove, TX; two brothers, Steven Davis of Lynchburg, and Gary Davis and wife, Patti of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Ethan Davis, Shawn Davis, and Carli Davis; and a nephew, Mark Mawyer and wife, Elizabeth of Amherst.

Per his request there will be no public service.
