James "Jim" Lovelace, Jr.

Pittsville ....James Richard "Jim" Lovelace, Jr., age 68 of Pittsville died Monday, June 26, 2017 at his residence.
Born March 21, 1949 in Danville he was a son of Ruby Mae Barrett Lovelace of Hardy and the late James Richard "Dick" Lovelace, Sr. Jim was a computer graphics designer. He was a free spirit who was an excellent musician and enjoyed riding Harleys and playing Billiards.
He is survived by one daughter, Wanda Rawlings of Pittsville; one sister, Cindy Lovelace Redding and husband, John of Appomattox; one brother, Mike Lovelace and wife, Donna of Penhook; three grandchildren, Richard Rawlings, Jessie Rawlings and Alyssa Keatts; a niece, Jennifer Shields Atkinson and husband, Brian and a nephew, Brandon Lovelace.Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Gretna Burial Park by Pastor Liz Lazenby.
