Chatham…...Jacquelyn "Jackie" Towler Pickral, affectionately known as "Meme" age 76 of Chatham died Friday, November 12, 2021 at Sovah Health Danville Regional Hospital.

Born March 1, 1945 Danville, she was a daughter of the late Willie Clarence Towler and Minnie Hundley Towler.  Mrs. Pickral was an active member of Greenbay Christian Church and she was a home maker.  She was very involved in the youth programs at the church; and she enjoyed flowers, sewing, cooking, giving away blue berries, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reuben Arnold Pickral of the residence; one son, Chris Pickral of Chatham; two daughters, Stacey Gauldin and husband, Mark of Axton, and Kelly East and husband, Kevin of Gretna; one sister, Glenda Creasy and husband, Kenneth of Burlington, NC; eight grandchildren, David Gauldin and wife, Alexa, Cristen Gauldin, Jonathan Gauldin, Phillip East, Thomas East, Jacob East, Samuel East, and Zachery Murphy; one great-grandchild, Virginia Gauldin; a special niece, Courtney Pate and husband, Joe of Burlington, NC; and a special cousin, Helen Towler of Chatham.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Greenbay Christian Church by Pastor James Headen and Lee Ashley, Minister.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Greenbay Christian Church and other times will be at the residence.
