Gretna…..Icie Maggie Cottrill, age 75 of Gretna died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her residence.
Born March 25, 1940 in Webster Springs, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Truman Benjamin Barnett and Audra Harris Barnett. Mrs. Cottrill was predeceased by a son, Robert Paul Cottrill, Jr.; two brothers, Norman Barnett and Christopher Barnett; and a sister Norma Jean Barnett. Icie was a home maker. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching TV and keeping up with Facebook on the computer.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Paul Cottrill of the residence; two daughters, Julie Barnett and husband, Phillip of Gretna, and Angelia Barnett and husband, Orville of Birch River, WV; two brothers, Timothy Barnett and wife Rose of Chatham and James Barnett of Hurt; a daughter-in-law, Janet Cottrill of Widen, WV; four grandchildren, Jr. Barnett, David Barnett, Brad Cottrill and Nathan Barnett; six great-grandchildren, Chance Barnett, Summer Barnett, Dakota Barnett, Drake Barnett, Dillon Cottrill and Jacob Cottrill.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Greene - Robertson Funeral Home, 600 Riverview Drive, Sutton, WV. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greene – Robertson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Birch River Cemetery.
