Gretna……….Hilda Pickeral Brumfield, age 69 of Gretna died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Chatham Health and Rehab.

Born July 20, 1951 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Edmond Radford Pickeral and Louise Rowland Pickeral. She was predeceased by one brother, Ronald Pickeral. Mrs. Brumfield was a member of First Baptist Church of Gretna and was a home maker. She loved to read.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Brumfield of the residence; two sons, Brian Brumfield and wife, Misty of Gretna and Charles "C.R." Brumfield & special friend, Carrie Metheny of Gretna; one sister, Linda Robertson and husband, Ken of Danville; and one grandson, Connor Brumfield.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. Jonathan Hilliard.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
