Gretna..…..Herman Barbour, age 69 of Gretna died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born August 29, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Jessie Barbour and Sallie Miller Barbour. He was predeceased by his wife, Pearlie Clay Barbour. Mr. Barbour loved watching western movies; and enjoyed riding his moped, mowing grass, and raking leaves.
He is survived by two sisters, Annie Mae Guthrie of Gladys and Jennie Benson of Nordan; and his good friend, Bradley Boswell of Gretna.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Greenfield Baptist Church by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
