Pittsville……Henry Anderson Milam, age 82 of Pittsville died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born June 11, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late William Henry Milam and Marguerite Slayton Milam. He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Lee Riddle Milam; one brother, Joseph Milam; and three sisters, Irene "Tommie" Wood, Martha Worley and Daisy McBride. Mr. Milam was an Army Veteran and retired from Schrader-Bridgeport. Henry loved going out to eat, especially with his friends at Dairy Queen.

He is survived by two brothers, Ryland Milam and wife, Rhonda of Gretna, Gerald Milam and wife, Elsie of Providence, NC; one sister, Sarah Morris and husband, Grey of Chesterfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Jason Andrews.

The family will receive friends before the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donation be made to Gretna Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 615 Gretna, VA 24557.
