Gretna……….Hazel Cundiff Bolling, age 88 of Gretna died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born May 10, 1933 in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Beverly Davis Cundiff and Helen Southall Cundiff.  She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Thomas Bolling; one daughter, Sarah Bolling Woods; one brother, Dr. O.W. "Buddy" Cundiff; and one sister, Iris Cundiff Powell.  Mrs. Bolling was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gretna and she retired from the Lane Company.  She enjoyed spending time with her church family, sewing, flowers, reading, and being outside.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Bolling and wife, Judy of Gretna; one daughter, Linda Caulder and husband, Lee of Fort Mill, SC; two sisters, Nancy Cundiff Truluck and husband, Dalton of Alexandria, and Arlene Davis Cundiff of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Susan Oakes and husband, Andy, Brittany Oakes, Kaitlyn Caulder, and Camden Caulder; and one great-grandchild, Joshua Oakes.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. Bob Ballance.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
