Gretna……….Harold Rogers (Rock) Tuck, age 79 of Pittsville, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his residence.
Born June 6, 1936 he was a son of the late Harvey Linwood Tuck and Elva George Tuck. Mr. Tuck was also predeceased by his son Harold Wayne Tuck; his daughter, Teresa Tuck; and two brothers, Winfred Tuck and Lindy Tuck. Mr. Tuck was a member and former Deacon at Riceville Baptist Church and was a retired Supervisor with the Lane Company for 45 years. He enjoyed carpentry and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Audrey Pritchett Tuck of the residence; a sister-in-law, Isabell Tuck of Pittsville; one nephew, Terry Tuck of Gretna; and two nieces, Debra Scott and her husband, Elliott of Penhook and Elaine McDaniel of Gretna.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Riceville Baptist Church by Dr. Dave Cochran and Rev. Douglas Gibson. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday, July 10, 2015 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
