Gretna………Harold Bolden, Keen, age 97 of Gretna, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Born September 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Charlie Lee Keen, and Lucy Green Shelton Keen.  Mr. Keen was predeceased by his wife, Udora "Dora" Susan Rowland Keen; one daughter, Elaine Gay Keen; three brothers, Otis Keen, Randolph Keen, and William Keen; four sisters, Lois Gay Keen, Sarah Barker, Dottie Elliott, and Dorine Strawn; and three grandchildren, Lee Eldridge Keen, Marie Lanette Doss, and Charlie Thomas Keen.  He was a farmer, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gretna Branch.  Mr. Keen was a loving care giver; and he loved Blue Grass Music, playing the mandolin, and square dancing.  He also enjoyed working on the farm, and cutting and baling hay.

He is survived by two sons, Harold Eldridge Keen and wife, Glenda, and Gary Daniel Keen and wife, Sherri; one daughter, Darlene Sue Doss and husband, Gerald; one brother, Sam Keen; one sister, Kathy Jennings and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Jennifer Denise Moore (Jeff), Tracy Melvin Doss, Dana Susan Doss, Charlene Nicole Lyles (Aaron), Ariel Janelle Puckett, and Karen Conelle Arnold; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Adam Moore (Jordan Turner), and Holly Denise Moore (Casey Turner); great-great-grandchildren, Grant Turner, Ryder Turner, and Maesyn Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Gretna Branch by Branch President, John Ansted, Rev. Aaron B. Lyles, and former Branch President, Steve Tate.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, and other times will be at the residence of his son, and daughter-in-law, Eldridge, and Glenda Keen.
