Hurt………Hannah Claire Stephens, age 23 of Hurt passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born March 7, 1997 in Chapel Hill, NC, she was a daughter of Robin Perkins Stephens of Hurt and Michael Godwin Stephens.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Gail Perkins. Hannah was an avid dancer having danced from the age of 3 to the age of 18.  She was a 2015 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School.  She was a member of the National Honor Society, and a North Carolina Scholar.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Lauren Owen and significant other, Kolby of Oxford, NC; paternal grandparents, Dr. Henry and Madeline Jefferson of Saluda, SC; maternal grandfather, Calvin E. Perkins of Hurt; and an uncle, Berkeley Shelton of Gretna.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Berkeley Shelton.
