Hurt.......Glenn Morgan Shelton, age 50, of 101 Highway View Road, Hurt died Friday, January 21, 2011 at his residence.
Born February 24, 1960 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Janet King Weeks and her husband, Mike of Hurt and the late James Shelton. Glenn was a former machine operator for Robertson's Lumber Co. He enjoyed fishing and car racing.
In addition to his mother and step-father he is survived by his wife, Kim McDaniel Shelton of the residence; one son, James Shelton of Hurt; two daughters, Janna Shelton and Morgan Shelton both of Hurt; one step-daughter, Lyndsi Owens of Lynch Station; two sisters, Kim Shelton of Hurt and Angie Russell of Altavista; two step-brothers, Jeremy Weeks of Hurt and Joe Weeks of Rustburg.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Terry Wiler officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Gladys.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Janet and Mike Weeks, 3677 Grit Road, Hurt and at the residence 101 Highway View Road, Hurt
