Chatham………Glenn Morris Keesee, age 74 of Chatham went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Born November 6, 1949 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Morris Earl Keesee, and Luella Frances Mayhew Keesee.  Mr. Keesee was a member of Samuel Harris Memorial Baptist Church, and he was a mechanic with Meadows Service Center.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and hot rods.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Younger Keesee of the residence; one daughter, Amy Montgomery and husband, Ben of Rocky Mount; one son, Daniel Keesee and wife, Hollye of Chatham; one sister, Mary Ellen Scruggs and significant other, Billy Tucker of Gretna; and four grandchildren, Sarah Montgomery, Hannah Montgomery, Elijah Keesee, and Everly Keesee.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Marion Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Redd and Pastor Hank Meadows.  Burial to follow in the Keesee Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
