Gretna…..Ginger Dudley Abshire, age 67 of Gretna died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at her residence.
Born September 14, 1944 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Harrison Dudley and Margerite Coffey Dudley. She was predeceased by her husband, Barry Abshire. Mrs. Abshire was a member of Anderson Memorial United Methodist Church, and was a school coordinator in Campbell County for the Central Virginia Community Services.
She is survived by one son, Scott Callahan and his wife, Sharon of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Sue Wood of Gretna; one grandson, Christopher Callahan; one granddaughter, Shanna Jones, and one nephew, William Dews.
