Kingston, TN……….Geraldine "Gerri" Frances Clay Snead, age 67 of Kingston, TN passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

Born July 23, 1955 in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late Hampton Owen Clay and Lula Mae Hendricks Clay. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Johnny W. Snead, Jr; and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Rigney.

She was a devoted wife and homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She loved shopping on QVC and taking care and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Allen Snead of the residence; two daughters, Michelle Charlton and husband Jonathan of Kingston, TN and Susan Snead of Kingston, TN; one brother, Owen Clay of Dry Fork, VA; two sisters, Jackie Eades and husband, Dennis of Hurt, VA and Vickie Shelton and husband, Timmy of Gretna, VA; one grandson, Clay Snead of Kingston, TN; a sister-in-law, Lois Clark of Richmond, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2023 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Pastor Ronnie Simpson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2023 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.
