Gretna………George Edward Greenwell, age 51 of Gretna, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence.

Born August 28, 1966 in Williston, ND he was a son of Edna Norby and the late George Frederick Greenwell. He was predeceased by one daughter, Mary Greenwell. Mr. Greenwell was a Navy SeaBee Veteran and was a retired Deputy for Mountrail County, North Dakota. George was a pilot, he loved building planes, flying planes and traveling. His motto in life was "treat yourself, have a piece of pie."

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Greenwell of the residence; two sons, Ivan Greenwell and wife, Christine of Plentywood, MT and Brandon Greenwell of Epping, ND; three step-daughters, Jessica Juma and husband, Raylan of Bismarck, ND, Rebecca Madsen and husband, Justin of Bismarck, ND and Sarah Judge of Lynchburg; and three grandchildren, Jason Juma, Joseph Juma and Kirha Greenwell.

Per his request there will be no service.
