Gretna……Garith Wayne Keatts, age 77 of Gretna died Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born January 12, 1946 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Harold Thomas Keatts and Ada Dalton Keatts. He was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Ray Keatts and Omah Dalton. Mr. Keatts was a member of Summersett Baptist Church and retired from Abbott after 20 years. Following retirement he worked as carpenter and started Keatts Home Improvement, where he was able to enjoy his love for woodworking. Garith enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, going to B&B's in Hurt and spending time in his man cave with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Walden Keatts of the residence; two daughters, Debbie Keatts and fiancé, Chris Mabry of Forest and Amy Fifer and husband, Chris of Gretna; two brothers, Lynwood Keatts and wife, Shelby of Gretna and Harold Keatts and wife, Peggy of Gretna; three grandsons, Drew Marr and fiancée, Casey Cox, Adam Marr and Hunter Crawley; and one great-grandson, Jaxon.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews and Pastor Ronnie Simpson. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Chris Fifer, 305 Worley Ct. Gretna, VA 24557.
