Gretna……Freddie Carrington Osborne, age 63 of Gretna died Monday, April 10, 2017 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born November 22, 1953 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late David Coleman Osborne, Sr. and Agnes Towler Osborne. Mr. Osborne was a former employee of Klopman for over 44 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching T.V.
He is survived by one daughter, Allison Marie Osborne of Gretna; two brothers, David Osborne, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Chatham and Marshall Osborne and wife, Laura of Gretna; two sisters, Mildred Perkins and husband, Melvin of Gretna and Darlene Adkins and husband, Lee of Chatham; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Wagner Family Cemetery by Randy Parker, Minister.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his brother and sister-in-law, Marshall and Laura Osborne, 402 South Franklin, Blvd., Gretna and at the residence of Allison's mother, Glenda and Danny Doss, 1821 Blue Ridge Drive, Gretna.
