Gretna…….Floyd Joel Waller, Sr. age 86 of Gretna passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at his residence.

Born January 17, 1939 in Halifax County, he was a son of the late Melvin Richard Waller and Wilsie Layne Waller.  He was  predeceased by a sister, Everlene McFaden.  Mr. Waller was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and retired from the Lane Company.  He loved NASCAR, listening to Blue Grass music and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anna Moschler Waller of the residence; three sons, Eddie Waller and wife, Kelly of Long Island, Bobby Waller and wife, Carrie of Gretna and Floyd Waller, Jr. and wife, Lill of Leesburg, FL; one brother, Richard Waller of Long Island; one sister, Ruby Jordan and husband, Harold of Gretna; one grandson, Ethan Waller and wife, Reanne of Long Island; and one great-granddaughter, Keely.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Greenfield Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. R.G. Rowland and Bobby Waller.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
