Florence Toler Creasy

Penhook..........Florence Toler Creasy age, 86, of Chatham died Friday, April 9, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center.
Born July 27, 1923 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late, James Bennett Toler and Eliza Pickeral Toler. She was predeceased by her husband, Gorden Creasy; a infant son, Gorden Alvin Creasy, Jr.; one sister, Louise Joyce; four brothers, Willie Towler, Elton Toler, Rufus Toler and Verlie Toler. Mrs. Creasy was a member of Museville Christian Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joe David of Penhook; three grandchildren, Stephanie Abbott and husband, Earl of Callands, Cheryl David of Penhook, and Drew David of Penhook; sisters-in-law, Gladys Gregory, Flora Woody, Emma Toler, Mary Toler and Etta Toler. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Museville Christian Church by Rusty Owens, Minister and Wayne Grinnell, Minister. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joe David, 14693 West Gretna Road, Penhook.
