Fitzhugh Edward Simpson

Gretna......Fitzhugh Edward Simpson, age 67, of Gretna died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at his residence.
Born October 5, 1942 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late, Bradley Fitzhugh Simpson and Hazel Inge Simpson. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, NASCAR, riding around in his car, and was a farmer.
He is survived by a sister, Frances Witcher of Gretna; a half-sister, Margie Shelton and husband, Earl of Gretna; special friends, Donna Brown and Eddie Dean Brumfield.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Neville Shelton. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his sister, Frances Witcher, 3410 Zion Road, Gretna.
