Gretna………Fay Yeatts Lowe, age 86 of Gretna went to her eternal home on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her residence.

Born April 28, 1935 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Howard Taft Yeatts, Sr. and Elizabeth Ramsey Yeatts.  She was predeceased by her husband, George Thomas Lowe, Jr.; two brothers, Glenn Norman Yeatts and H.T. Yeatts, Jr; and one great-grandchild, Anthony Michael Estes.  Mrs. Lowe was a member of Piney Fork Baptist Church and she was a teacher's aide with Pittsylvania County Schools.  She loved flowers, traveling, the beach, the mountains, and looking after others.

She is survived by two sons, George Thomas Lowe III and Carolyn of Chatham, and Glenn Lowe and Holly of Chatham; two daughters, Elizabeth Karen Lowe of Nathalie, and Lisa Lowe Adams of Gretna; three grandchildren, Tony Estes, Jessica Adams, and Sarah Lowe and Luke; seven great-grandchildren, Destanee, Elijah, Jayden, Jalen, Ava, Colton, and Landon; and one great-great-grandchild, Carson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Joe Glass and Rev. David Turbyfill.  Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
