Evelyn (Peck) Worsham Hutcherson

Long Island........Evelyn (Peck) Worsham Hutcherson, age 81 of 2969 Moons Road, Long Island died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Danville Regional Hospital.
Born September 17, 1928 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late John William Worsham and Nannie Moon Worsham. She was predeceased by her husband, George Calvin Hutcherson, a daughter, Juanita A. Hutcherson; five brothers, Walter Worsham, Harslie Worsham, Chesley Worsham, Nathan Worsham, and Irvin Worsham; and two sisters, Doris Hutcherson, and Janie Worsham. Mrs. Hutcherson was a member of Edge Hill Baptist Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, birds, and flowers.
She is survived by a son, Tommy C. Hutcherson and his wife, Shirley of Hurt, a daughter, Cheryl D. Hutcherson of Lynchburg, two grandchildren, Shelley Brown and husband, Patrick, and Brian Owen and wife, Laurie; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conduced 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Edge Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Chris Brooks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
