Eva Gibson Crider, age 90 died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Envoy at the Meadows in Goochland, VA.
Born May 22, 1922 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Fred W. Gibson and Blanche Shields Gibson. Mrs. Crider was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe C. Crider; two brothers, Moncie Gibson and Charlie Martin Gibson; and four sisters, Zola Overstreet, Hattie Gibson, Zella Moore, and Ruby King. She was a member of Greenbay Christian Church and was a home maker. Mrs. Crider loved cooking, and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by one sister, Agnes Covington of Amelia; and nieces and nephews which she loved very much.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Lee Ashley, Minister. Burial will follow in the Crider Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
